In their early years as creatives at an advertising agency, Jacob and Bart were constantly searching for the perfect balance between surfing and work. That meant hitting the sea at half past six, and then getting stuck into great campaigns with wet hair and sand between their toes.
After years of feeling the split between the beach and the buttoned-up agency world, the wish grew to do things differently. Their own way. Because creativity gets no kick out of a standard spot or rigid working hours. So Jacob and Bart decided to combine the earning model with the fun model: first from their campervans, and later — handy in winter — from a warehouse.
And anyone who's regularly out in the sea naturally starts to see the world differently. Sustainability and looking out for one another became ever more important. Because that's what makes us happy!
We're a small, driven team that helps brands and organisations move forward with creativity and communication that's spot on. Curious, driven and constantly in search of impact.
THE WISH TO SHARE.
In the early years we built identities and campaigns, serving brands from our campervans, with a view of warm and cold seas alike. Every project enriched us, bringing us closer to a working ideal. Not a slick agency with a perfect desk office. But always a good story to share around the mental campfire.
At the same time, we felt the wish to share. To have a headquarters big enough for the campervans. Where we could welcome clients, and later employees too, and share stories. Rain or shine. With wonderful coffee.
What we really wanted was an absurd blend of travel, playground and office. Because we want to meet. To grow wiser. To give and share. To make the world more beautiful. With you.
